CELEBRATE ADVENT

NOV 27-DEC 24

The word “Advent” is derived from Latin meaning “to come.” At Christmas, we celebrate the coming of God in the person of Jesus the Christ.

Rev. Nick Miles will lead us in worship on Nov. 27, Dec.11, Dec.18 and Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Dec. 24

He will offer a series of meditations on our journey towards Christmas Day, our “coming” to grips with balancing the sacred with the secular aspects of this time of the year. Worship includes the beautiful carols of Christmas.

Nov. 27-Down the Path of History

              Isaiah 35-Matthew 1:18-25

Dec. 04-Rev Arlene Wilhelm continues the Advent                 meditation

Dec. 11-The Search for Truth

             John 1:1-18- 2 Cor. 9:6-15

Dec. 18-God Identifies with Us
